In this role you will engage with supporting our current customers and growing our footprint within them by sharing and demonstrating cutting edge technologies in the rapidly growing Data Science field. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for: Leveraging your sales experience to communicate and prospect into existing clients Expanding our footprint by developing an interest in Posit’s professional software Educating the market about the value of Posit’s professional products Selling our software Forecasting sales activity and revenue achievement Creating satisfied and referenceable customers Keeping up with industry trends, the competitive landscape, and customer needs
Job Requirements
- At least 7 years of B2B Software Sales experience with a demonstrable track record of success
- Experience closing business in Fortune 1000 Enterprise and Multinational accounts
- Highly skilled at developing and maintaining client relationships
- Highly adept at prospecting
- Experienced in long, complex sales cycles in large organizations involving multiple stakeholders
- Highly organized and thrive in a high-velocity environment
- Internally driven by curiosity and continuous learning
- Proven ability to be entrusted with big decisions
- Humble and collaborative with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and reliable, able to function effectively in a distributed team
- Available to travel as needed
