Senior Data Manager
CI&T
• Operate and evolve the data platform (Databricks, Unity Catalog, data lake), ensuring availability, performance and cost control • Lead the full data lifecycle — ingestion, ETL/ELT and enablement — supporting billing and adoption pipelines with reliability and integrity • Establish and enforce data best practices: Governance, Modeling, Quality, Security & Privacy, Lineage and Accessibility • Define the team roadmap and prioritize requests, balancing competing needs of technical and business stakeholders • Collaborate with stakeholders to document clear data requirements and validate products with users • Monitor metrics and KPIs to guide decisions and drive continuous improvement of data products • Support the incorporation of AI into the team's workflows to accelerate performance • Lead and develop a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists and analytics specialists — attracting, retaining and mentoring talent • Ensure billing and adoption pipelines operate with integrity, reliability and efficiency • Identify opportunities to scale and optimize the data operation
Job Requirements
- Previous experience as a Data/Analytics Manager, Data Engineering Lead or Tech Lead with people management
- Expertise in at least two areas: Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science or AI
- Strong experience with modern data architecture (lakehouse, dimensional/medallion modeling) and the full data lifecycle
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, Spark/PySpark, SQL and workflow orchestration
- Knowledge of event streaming (Kafka or similar) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure)
- Strong communication with technical and business audiences, product mindset and focus on measurable impact
- Nice-to-haves / Preferred qualifications:
- Direct experience with CI&T Flow or AI agent ecosystems
- Experience with multi-tenant data platforms and billing/usage-based models
- Knowledge of Data Security and Privacy; familiarity with LGPD, GDPR, SOC 2 or ISO 27001
- Experience with MLOps and relevant certifications (Databricks, cloud or product)
