Role Summary The Metadata Specialist provides a vital role in supporting Anuvu’s airline metadata team across our customer accounts. As the airline metadata expert, you will document processes, track progress against key milestones, manage high-priority metadata, and ensure both quality and on-time delivery to clients.  This role involves regular meetings—primarily with the metadata team, but also with the broader account team—to provide status updates, identify and address blockers, and ensure compliance with process improvements as required. You will take ownership of quality control documentation, ensuring all necessary tasks are signed off during each client media cycle. Additionally, you will be responsible for issue resolution and prevention, ensuring all corrections are implemented and root cause analysis is conducted. Building strong relationships, you will foster collaboration and trust with both the airline team and external stakeholders/partners. Location: LA, United States Remote Options: Remote but travel required to OEM's/clients What You’ll Be Doing  - Act as the subject matter expert for airline metadata across all OEM systems, offering support to the metadata team and Service Manager - Facilitate regular meetings and check-ins with the Metadata Team - Create and maintain process documentation, capturing airline-specific system nuances, client preferences, and any other relevant information - Develop, refine, and manage QC checklists to ensure metadata accuracy and compliance before final sign-off - Continuous process improvement – suggesting and implementing new processes to avoid errors or streamline metadata production - Ownership of key NLC / high priority metadata updates (i.e. Safety Videos / PRAMs / key advertisements or airline marketing videos) - Ensure timely execution of content updates throughout the cycle - Investigate and resolve issues identified in OEM rack test reports, collaborating closely with OEM partners and internal stakeholders - Monitor key cycle milestones and maintain calendar of deadlines, proactively follow up with internal stakeholders, provide updates during SteerCo meetings, and flag any issues or delays to the schedule - Assist with the information flow into the metadata team to all relevant departments Expectations What We’re Looking For This Might Be the Right Place if You…. Maintain error log – ensuring all corrections are actioned and any issues are resolved as soon as possible - Assist the Service Manager with file tracking and issue reporting, ensuring the timely resolution of missing or failed files and implementing any necessary metadata updates Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and draft incident reports for onboard metadata errors Training and developing the skills of the team - Support the metadata team and Service Manager with day-to-day operational tasks, high-level QC, issue resolution and implementing new processes - Become the go-to expert for assigned airlines and OEM systems, with in-depth knowledge of client-specific nuances and system capabilities. - Support the operations team with onboarding of new clients / systems - Provide team support and advocacy, proactively flagging risks to sign-off and quality when dependencies are delayed - Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all OEMs, as well as internal stakeholders - Ensure on-time and quality deliverables to clients - Maintain KPI metrics showing team performance and identify key issues on a monthly basis - Train the team on systems and processes to meet client requirements - 1-3 years data-entry/CMS experience, or similar applicable data experience preferred - Inflight industry experience is an added advantage but not essential - Extreme versatility, adaptability and ability to function in high-paced environments  - Ability to work with other global regions / cultures within different timezones - Ability to take Initiative and contribute to a long-term vision -  Are a team fit; can help advance our global, inclusive culture -        Are self-starter who likes to roll up your sleeves and take initiative with minimal direction -        Can think about tomorrow, while getting your work done today -        Are a collaborative team player; primary audience will be internal teams -        Are curious and open to learning and finding new solutions -        Are able to provide and accept feedback in a constructive manner -        Are organized, have strong communication skills, and will do whatever it takes to get things done
