Senior Financial Analyst, Payments
BOLD
• Identify patterns in payment processing success, chargeback, and fraud rates by analyzing large quantity of data • Monitor and forecast payment related metrics, such as acceptance rate and fraud rate, and predict customer behaviors through data analysis and modeling • Understand the key drivers of company KPIs (Key Performance Indicators such as conversion rate, life time value of a customer, chargeback rate, and fraud rate) and the relative contribution of those drivers to the business performance through financial and statistical modeling • Monitor payment acceptance rates and track performance trends to proactively recommend adjustments to our payment processor allocation strategies when shifts occur • Review transaction and chargeback data across various card brands, processors, and gateways to monitor performance trends, proactively identifying anomalies and recommending solutions to address issues. • Make recommendations to improve operations, anti-fraud processes and system enhancements
Job Requirements
- Finance, Economics, Statistics or related degree required
- 4 to 6 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, statistics, or a highly analytical finance role.
- Ability to collaborate with and across teams throughout the company, including Finance, Platform, Customer Support, Product, and Marketing to drive results
- Extensive experience in building complex financial models, conducting quantitative and qualitative financial analysis and scenario analysis
- Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills
- Experience in presenting analysis to senior executives and working as a business partner across all departments
- Thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Advanced Excel and Pivot Table proficiency and PowerPoint Skills
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
