This role requires capturing not only what is said, but how it is said, including filler words, repetitions, stutters, false starts, and incomplete thoughts. - Produce verbatim transcripts from single-speaker and multi-speaker audio recordings with a target accuracy rate of 98% or higher. - Timestamp transcript segments with precise alignment to audio, maintaining offsets of less than 500 milliseconds. - Identify and label speakers in conversations involving two to three participants. - Annotate non-speech events, including laughter, background noise, interruptions, and unintelligible audio segments. - Follow transcription guidelines and quality standards consistently across all assignments. - Deliver completed work within established deadlines. Qualifications - Native-level fluency in Amharic. - Basic or junior transcription experience. - Ability to transcribe verbatim, preserving stutters, filler words, false starts, and repeated words. - Comfortable working with browser-based transcription tools. - Reliable and able to consistently meet quality standards and deadlines.
