Job Description
Security Analyst
GoodLife Fitness
• Analyze, maintain, and manage GoodLife security systems to ensure secure production and development environments • Escalate or respond to incidents as required • Involved in audit and compliance processes, and provide reporting for compliance and investigation • Maintain accurate security systems hardware and software inventories • Maintain and update security systems • Review and action on security system reports • Investigate and respond to security system alerts • Run manual scan jobs as required (Asset, Virus, Vulnerability, etc.) • Perform and maintain backups of security system configurations • Create and respond to Helpdesk security tickets as assigned • Assist with security project work as required • Work and collaborate with various vendors and GoodLife partners • Collaborate with T&I operations to implement and deploy new security systems • Involved in the process of selecting security systems • Keep up to date with the latest security trends and news • Daily, Weekly, Monthly review of various reports and scan jobs • Create and maintain security operational documentation
Job Requirements
- College diploma in the field of computer science and/or 2-3 years equivalent work experience
- IT and security Certifications are an asset such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Meraki Network Operator (CMNO), Azure Administrator Associate, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Azure Security Engineer Associate, Security +
- 3-5 years of IT related experience
- Solid multi-platform knowledge
- A solid understanding of information technology and information security and strong troubleshooting knowledge
- Experience with IT infrastructure and applications, including network devices, firewalls, VPN, desktop and server configuration, database security
- Knowledge of compliance such as PCI compliance, and corporate security policies and procedures
- Experience in implementation and maintenance of various security technologies
- Trustworthy and discretion are a must
- Desire and aptitude to investigate and secure digital systems
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and procedural documentation
- Ability to create and maintain documentation
- Ability to learn and utilize new tools effectively
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
- Self-motivated and directed with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Working technical knowledge of current network protocols, operating systems, and standards
- Coding / Scripting knowledge would be an asset
- Knowledge of security industry best practices is an asset
- Knowledge in Cloud computing
