AWS Cloud Engineer

• Build, maintain, and optimize secure, scalable AWS infrastructure supporting production applications • Design and implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible, and related automation tools • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable and automated software delivery • Manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm • Improve system observability by implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions • Troubleshoot infrastructure and production issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing long-term improvements • Collaborate closely with software engineers to integrate DevOps best practices throughout the development lifecycle • Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, security, and cost efficiency • Leverage AI coding assistants to accelerate infrastructure development, automation, and operational troubleshooting
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including networking, infrastructure, and account management
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible, or similar tools
- Solid experience managing containerized environments with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Datadog, or CloudWatch
- Proficiency in scripting using Bash, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Linux/Unix systems and production infrastructure
- Ability to effectively use AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and operational workflows
- Fluent English communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a collaborative remote-first environment

Role Description A cloud observability engineer’s day is about making complex systems understandable, improving signal quality, and enabling faster, smarter debugging across teams. - Check system health, review alerts/incidents. - Triage alerts - Investigate issues - Improve observability instrumentation - Build and improve dashboards - Alert optimization - Work with development teams and other engineering partners. - Continuous improvements. - Release support.
