Role Description We are looking for a Backend Application Developer to join our Global FP&A team, based out of Pune. This role is ideal for a hands-on developer who enjoys building scalable applications that solve real business problems and improve financial planning and reporting across a global organization. Working closely with Finance and Technology stakeholders, you will design, develop, and enhance backend applications that enable efficient financial reporting, planning, and analysis. You'll play a key role in transforming business requirements into practical, user-focused solutions while contributing to the team's broader application and data strategy. Key Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain backend applications that support Global FP&A processes and financial reporting. - Develop robust, scalable solutions that improve planning, forecasting, and reporting capabilities. - Partner with FP&A stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into intuitive, high-value applications. - Drive continuous improvement of existing applications, identifying opportunities to automate processes and enhance user experience. - Develop and maintain APIs, data integrations, and backend services that support financial applications. - Contribute to the team's data strategy, ensuring applications effectively leverage and manage financial data. - Support the full software development lifecycle, from solution design through deployment and ongoing enhancement. Qualifications - 4+ years of hands-on backend application development experience. - Demonstrated experience building business applications from concept through to deployment. - Strong backend development skills, with experience designing scalable, reliable application architectures. - Ability to work closely with business stakeholders to develop practical solutions that deliver measurable value. - Experience with financial systems, FP&A, reporting applications, or enterprise business applications is highly desirable. - A proactive, innovative mindset with a passion for solving business challenges through technology. Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our talented team. Qualifications - Bachelor’s or equivalent higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in a similar role. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Familiarity with additional programming languages or technologies (e.g. Python, Java). - Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration. - Experience with flow creations using Node-RED and setting up MQTT brokers. - Experience with other IoT platforms and technologies is a plus. Requirements - Strong command in C++ and C# for backend development. - Proven experience of writing efficient database queries (both SQL and NoSQL), setting up database monitoring systems, etc. - Extensive experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, including setting up and managing their services. - Strong knowledge of Docker for containerized deployments. - Proficiency with monitoring technologies like .NET Aspire, Prometheus for application health and performance monitoring. - Experience with API and webhook integrations using REST and gRPC. - Proficiency in using Git for version control. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong problem-solving skills.
