Role Description - Design, develop, and maintain Magento 2 storefronts, custom modules, and platform customizations. - Build and extend REST and GraphQL APIs for headless architectures and third-party integrations. - Perform Magento upgrades, patch management, and performance optimization. - Develop backend services and microservices supporting e-commerce workflows. - Build responsive front-end interfaces using modern web technologies. - Write and optimize SQL queries, manage database migrations, and maintain data integrity. - Develop Python scripts and automation workflows for data processing and operational tasks. - Configure and maintain cron jobs, shell scripts, and deployment automation. - Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies. - Collaborate with QA teams to ensure testing coverage and CI/CD integration. Qualifications - 3+ years of Magento 2 development experience, including custom module development. - Strong proficiency in PHP 7.4+/8.x and Magento framework architecture. - Solid experience with MySQL, including complex SQL queries and database optimization. - Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and data processing. - Hands-on experience configuring and managing Linux cron jobs. - Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and GraphQL services. - Front-end experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and React, Vue.js, or a similar framework. - Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development workflows. - Proficiency working in Linux command-line environments. • Contribute to architecture, design, and technical decision-making across the full application stack, including React and Next.js frontends, Node.js backend services, Contentful CMS integrations, and AWS cloud infrastructure. • Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing APIs that serve as the foundation for consumer-facing applications. • Oversee CMS content modeling and editorial workflow optimization within Contentful CMS. • Improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, monitoring, observability, and system reliability. • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and cloud infrastructure best practices within AWS, including IAM least-privilege, private S3 patterns, and secrets management. • Establish and enforce engineering standards, best practices, and scalable design patterns. • Provide technical mentorship, supervision, and performance guidance to engineers. • Partner with product, design, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions • Support sprint planning, technical estimation, roadmap development, and hiring efforts.
