• This course explores the ways in which adult education and critical pedagogies inform the values, approaches, and methods of critically reflective practices. • Through a combination of critical pedagogies and social justice movements from individual and social perspectives, students will gain familiarity with reflective practices across various contexts. • Narrative construction, reflection on action, critical incidents, and emerging applications will be investigated in order to generate critical perspectives that shape reflective practice and allow adults to evaluate their lifelong learning. • The completion of a professional portfolio is a requirement of this course.

• Perform skill-specific instruction in at fields in and around the Mariners community • Build and maintain relationships with athletes, families, and coaches in the community • Deliver age and ability-appropriate content to athletes in the team, camp/clinic, small group, and 1-on-1 settings • Collaborate and co-instruct with other skill-specific instructors • Assist in the preparation, setup, and breakdown of equipment for training programs and events • Attend staff meetings, instructor meetings, and company events, as needed

• Deliver high-quality, skill-specific baseball instruction primarily at camps and clinics across Philadelphia's parks and fields. • Build lasting relationships with athletes, their families, and coaches, enhancing our strong community ties. • Provide tailored coaching that suits the age and skill level of each athlete in a dynamic camp or clinic environment. • Work alongside other skilled instructors, sharing knowledge and techniques to enhance the quality of our programs. • Play a crucial role in the setup, execution, and breakdown of our engaging baseball training events.

• Instructor role includes administrative support to facilitate and document training in accordance with local procedures and higher headquarters direction • Support to instruction and curriculum development • Train unit personnel to use PEX software • Run reports and brief leadership on the status of user training tracked by PEX • Train unit personnel on applicability of PEX information to assist in training, readiness, and inspection reporting
