Business Development Manager, Facial Aesthetics

AbbVie

• Represents the Facial Aesthetics product portfolio to targeted aesthetic customers within a designated geographical area • Responsible for creating product acceptance and enhancing portfolio growth through business development activities • Provides technical product and procedure expertise as well as competitive product differentiation • Assigned sales goals are obtained through creative, consultative selling and implementation of the U.S. Sales/Marketing plan • Leverages resources to accelerate the adoption and sales growth of the Facial Aesthetics portfolio which includes for BOTOX® Cosmetic, JUVEDERM® Collection of fillers, and Kybella® brands • Synergistically works and coordinates activities with other Allergan Aesthetics cross portfolio partners and support teams • Complies with required reporting, requests, and compliance policies

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required
  • Minimum of 3+ years of sales experience required
  • Experience and knowledge of general marketing principles and concepts within the healthcare environment
  • Experience and knowledge of inner workings of a physicians practice
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • Proven record of driving sales execution
  • Effective consultative support
  • Strong problem solving and resolution skillset
  • Ability to develop key strategies and execute
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong contract and negotiating skills
  • Financial and budgetary experience
  • Ability to travel and be in the field four days a week
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

About the roleAs a Business Development Executive at Halter, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and ensuring customer success within your designated territory. You will be responsible for executing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and meeting ambitious growth targets, all while acting as Halter’s on-the-ground representative. This role requires a proactive and hands-on approach, with a focus on both expansion and long-term customer satisfaction within the dairy industry. In this role, you will prioritise daily efforts that optimise growth performance and drive value for your customers. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Support, and other regional sales teams, you’ll share field insights to ensure Halter’s technology continues to meet the needs of farmers. Your contributions will directly support Halter’s mission to support 50% of the world's habitable landmass to be more productive and sustainable. We are searching for a driven hunter with a strong track record to lead Halter’s expansion in the Northern Otago market. This is an opportunity to positively disrupt an industry and pioneer groundbreaking change on some of the highest-performing dairy farms. You will be leading the Northern Otago expansion for one of the world’s fastest-growing companies by helping equip farms with Halter technology that will transform the way they farm to become leaders in productivity and sustainability. You will be working closely with a passionate Customer team on the ground in the area and backed by a team of exceptional people at Halter’s Auckland HQ, to ensure this is the best job you’ll ever have. This in a 12-month Fixed-Term role which requires daily travel across the Northern Otago region to meet with farmers. What your day could look like - On-farm sales meetings: Understanding the needs and problems of your prospects then clearly communicating functionality, benefits and highlighting value relative to each farming operation. - Prospecting: Building and growing a pipeline of quality farms fit for Halter, while continuously reducing sales cycle times. Managing newly sourced and inbound leads through the initial stages of the pipeline including screening and qualifying. - Networking: Building and leveraging industry relationships to establish and maintain Halter's brand. - Forecasting: Working with the Business Development Manager to enable monthly and quarterly forecasting of revenue. - Growth initiatives: Working with the Business Development Manager to optimise and evolve the sales process to become faster, more efficient, and more predictable as the company scales.
