• Drive sales and new carrier appointments to grow QuoteWell's footprint • Support the continued evolution of wholesale operations at QuoteWell • Develop, maintain and cultivate client and agent relationships. • Solicit, market, quote, bind, and confirm new and existing business. • Negotiate the best terms and coverages available with accessible markets. • Partner with our Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to build solutions to streamline efforts across the full policy lifecycle in the surplus lines space
Job Requirements
- Sufficient experience that allowed you to build a sizable book of business.
- Necessary licenses for your appropriate lines of business
- Strong sales / producer abilities
- Ability to handle high-volume deals, generating quotes and servicing policies quickly
- Excellent communication skills: both in-person and written
- Organized and detail oriented
- A natural desire to see things through and a history of being scrappy when it counts
- Willingness and ability to travel depending on the needs of clients, Agents, and new business

Role Description The Associate Broker is responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of brokerage and delivering client service under the guidance of the broker. The role requires engagement with underwriters to secure optimal pricing for their clients and terms and identifies and resolves errors. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Sales, or Risk Management preferred. - 1 year of work experience in Wholesale brokerage, Commercial insurance coverages, Sales or Underwriting is preferred. Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered. Requirements - Must meet minimum requirements for state P&C and/or surplus line licenses. - Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) (Preferred), or Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) a plus. The target salary range for this position is $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 annually.
