Role Description We are seeking a Senior Software Architect to serve as a technical linchpin for our most complex cloud-native and hybrid projects. In this role, you will bridge the gap between high-level architectural vision and hands-on engineering excellence. You will lead the design and implementation of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) environments, air-gapped infrastructure, and mission-critical landing zones. Location: Primarily Remote. Candidates must be based in CA or DC Metro Area for proximity to project and client teams. Security Clearance Requirement: Applicants must be US citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an active Secret security clearance or above. Qualifications - Active Secret (or higher) Clearance - 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Cloud Architecture, and/or DevOps/SRE roles. - Proven track record of building complex, modular infrastructure at scale. - Expert-level Kubernetes experience, including service mesh and advanced networking. - Strong proficiency in Python or Go, with the ability to build production-grade applications and automation tools. - Experience leading technical workstreams or serving as a Team Lead on large projects. - Preferred qualifications: - Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field. - Experience authoring or contributing to ATO packages and system security documentation. - Experience with Zero Trust architectures and hardware security. - Prior consulting or public sector experience strongly preferred. - One or more of the following certifications: - Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect - Google Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer - Google Cloud Professional Cloud Network Engineer - AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Azure Solutions Architect Expert - Certified Kubernetes Administrator Requirements - Lead the architectural design of scalable cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with long-term mission goals and security requirements. - Define reference architectures for cloud landing zones, establishing comprehensive blueprints for secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud environments across major providers. - Optimize technical architectures for mission-critical applications and their supporting cloud environments, focusing on performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. - Implement SRE best practices, building advanced observability stacks and automating incident response. - Lead the development of custom tooling and reusable accelerators to automate complex operational workflows. - Design for resilience - engineer self-healing systems and disaster recovery protocols for disconnected or air-gapped environments. - Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for client discussions on cloud strategy, architecture, cost optimization, security, and compliance. - Support pre-sales technical solutioning and contribute to statements of work (SOWs), level-of-effort estimates, and architecture proposals. - Lead or support Authority to Operate (ATO) efforts by producing documentation, providing security input, and interfacing with client security teams. - Proactively identify areas for improvement and innovation in cloud operations and service delivery. - Create and maintain architecture artifacts, operations playbooks, and reusable accelerators for internal and external use. - Share expertise through internal knowledge transfers, training sessions, and documentation. - Mentor and grow junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, architectural whiteboard, and technical workshops. • Define testing strategy, scope, and schedules for large-scale projects. • Apply domain knowledge of Immunization Information Systems (IIS) and public health workflows to testing approaches. • Develop and implement standard Test CoE processes, templates, and guidelines. • Supervise and manage work allocation, demand management, and resource capacity. • Monitor productivity and bandwidth to ensure seamless delivery across multiple projects. • Manage project scope, issues, and changes; conduct risk assessments. • Drive root cause analysis for defects and implement defect prevention strategies. • Ensure day-to-day client management, service delivery scope, schedule, and quality.

• You design and implement automated testing solutions for our clients, for example in transformation projects and migrations • You confidently apply a variety of test automation tools and frameworks based on project needs • You create (automated) test cases, produce documentation and test reports, and take a hands-on role during testing • You define work packages and take responsibility for coordinating (sub-)projects, including managing implementation through to business acceptance (sign-off) • You act as an innovator in the field of test automation, actively contributing to process improvements and promoting new approaches and ideas • You drive test automation and test management at Wavestone and continuously develop colleagues and clients through training • You apply AI-assisted development tools in day-to-day work to increase productivity, improve code quality, and maintain high-quality documentation, contributing to robust and maintainable solutions • You collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to develop solutions to specific problems, occasionally leveraging existing systems and solutions • You build professional relationships with clients, management, and team members to ensure successful delivery of proposed solutions

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable UI automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium • Design frameworks supporting multiple teams, applications, environments, and CI/CD pipelines • Build reusable API and integration testing components (Postman, GraphQL, PactumJS, REST clients) • Support document-heavy and compliance-driven workflows (disclosure validation, OCR, document intelligence) • Implement automation observability: logging, diagnostics, flaky test detection, and trend reporting • Support AI-assisted automation: test generation, regression optimization, and failure triage
