Job Description

Senior SRE

Gorillas Group

• Maintain platform reliability in production, focusing on availability, incidents, monitoring, deployments, costs, security, and capacity. • Help structure and evolve alerts, runbooks, incident response rituals, SLOs, SLIs, metrics, and operational processes. • Improve platform observability by separating useful alerts from noise and creating visibility for engineering, operations, and the business. • Work with cloud, containers, pipelines, databases, networks, CDN/WAF, APIs, and automations, without listing the full architectural details here. • Support decisions on scaling, resilience, isolation, rollback, security, cost, and technical evolution. • Automate repetitive tasks and turn operational knowledge into simple, useful, and actionable documentation. • Collaborate with development, security, product, support, and operations so that reliability is part of the product—not an island at the end of the delivery pipeline.

Job Requirements

  • Strong experience as an SRE, Platform Engineer, Senior DevOps, Senior Infrastructure Engineer, or equivalent role in production environments.
  • Hands-on experience with critical systems, high-volume operations, incidents, availability, and making decisions under pressure.
  • Solid knowledge of cloud, Kubernetes, containers, networking, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and infrastructure as code.
  • Ability to investigate issues by analyzing logs, metrics, deployments, network, databases, applications, bottlenecks, and system behavior.
  • Maturity to work autonomously, prioritize effectively, communicate risks, and drive initiatives without micromanagement.
  • Strong technical communication: explain complex problems simply, document what matters, and align on trade-offs.
  • Practical, collaborative, and team-oriented mindset—no ego. The expectation is to contribute to a team that already has strong experience.
