Sensor Fusion Engineer, Acoustics & Computer Vision

The Formula Consulting

• You will develop a next-generation localization product with a learned map architecture. • You will design and implement visual and acoustic sensor systems for drone detection. • You will develop a multi-sensor perception and fusion system for the drone early-warning system. • You will run machine learning and AI models directly on local sensors rather than on cloud servers. • You will design, build, and maintain scalable models and bring model inference directly to drone-detection devices. • You will implement scalable, low-latency intelligence. • Together with the ML, MLOps, and DevOps teams, you will enable fast and secure deployments. • You will monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve observability. • If desired, you will support on-site operations, collect sensor data, and validate the technology in controlled field trials.

Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in IT (e.g., engineering).
  • At least 2 years of full-time professional experience as a Fusion Engineer, ideally with an acoustics focus.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the IoT domain.
  • Fluent in Python and familiar with relevant frameworks.
  • Strong experience with the Embedded Linux ecosystem.
  • Initial experience with cloud platforms.
  • Have worked at least 2 consecutive years for the same employer.
  • Fluent English; additional spoken languages are a plus.
  • Comfortable working in the defense sector.
  • Thrive in a dynamic startup/scaleup environment.
  • Ideally experienced with fleet data, Bash, Golang, C/C++, MLOps, and DevOps.
  • Ideally willing to travel 2–3 days per quarter for field trials.
