Job Description

Digital Media Strategist

• Develop, execute, and optimize digital media strategies that help clients achieve their business objectives • Execute day-to-day media buying activities, including campaign setup, audience targeting, keyword research, budget management, bid adjustments, testing, and optimization across digital advertising platforms • Create and implement strategies for digital media campaigns across search (SEM), display advertising, social media, and video marketing channels • Allocate and manage budgets for various campaigns, optimizing spend to maximize ROI • Apply financial acumen to budgeting, projections, revenue metrics, and assist with media billing • Analyze market data to identify target audiences, ensuring campaigns are tailored to reach the right people • Monitor, evaluate, and report on campaign performance using platform metrics and analytics tools, making data-driven decisions to improve results and drive strategy forward • Identify opportunities for innovation, experimentation, and growth within digital campaigns • Manage internal and external client expectations while ensuring deliverables and deadlines are met • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align media strategy with broader marketing and business goals • Stay current on digital media trends, platform updates, industry developments, and best practices • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and systems.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in digital marketing strategy across digital media
  • Agency or client-side digital marketing experience required; agency experience preferred
  • Experience managing digital campaigns across multiple media channels
  • Strong understanding of campaign budgeting, projections, and revenue metrics
  • Hands-on experience managing campaigns within platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, DV360, The Trade Desk, or similar digital advertising platforms
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and project management platforms like monday.com or similar tools
  • Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills
  • Curious and creative mindset with a passion for marketing, culture, and emerging trends
  • Ability to think strategically across the full marketing spectrum, with a strong understanding of full-funnel marketing and the role paid media plays throughout the customer journey
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a willingness to take initiative
  • Growth-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
  • Co-op experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, demonstrating strong self-management, communication, and collaboration skills.
