Job Description
Infusion Patient Assistance Coordinator
Soleo Health
• Educate and assist patients with enrollment in copay and foundation assistance programs. • Prepare and send enrollment forms and related correspondence for patient assistance programs. • Stay current on federal, state, and contractual guidelines related to copay assistance. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely benefit navigation including providing support to Patient Ambassadors on complex benefit cases. • Create, explain, and verify ABNs to ensure accuracy and protect revenue. • Assist patients experiencing financial hardship through the internal Soleo Assistance Program. • Manage renewals for all manufacturers, foundation, and Soleo Assistance Program (SAP) cases. • Ensure compliance with manufacturer program requirements, including report creation and maintenance. • Support supervisors and managers with special projects assigned.
Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of home infusion specialty pharmacy required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement guidelines including ability to interpret payor contract fee schedules based on NDC and HCPCS units
- Strong ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals/priorities while ensuring productivity expectations and quality are met
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel & Word
- Knowledge of CPR+ preferred
