• Deliver natural resources assessments and environmental compliance support for biological and aquatic resources. • Conduct surveys for special-status wildlife and suitable habitat areas. • Perform field surveys to identify aquatic resources including vernal pool complexes. • Prepare brief memoranda documenting survey results. • Conduct pre-construction surveys for listed plant and wildlife species and nesting birds. • Lead on-site natural resources Worker Environmental Awareness Program training for construction contractors on various projects. • Monitor during construction activities for compliance with environmental requirements and permits, including coordination and communication with the AECOM leadership team, client, construction contractor, and agency personnel. • Produce daily monitoring logs to summarize work activities and compliance. • Participate as an active and positive member of AECOM’s Environmental Planning and Permitting practice in California.

• Capable of quickly learning the Company estimating systems and processes. • Understands estimating terminology and measures and recognizes estimating processes/project actions that may impact the project. • Perform Environmental Remediation estimations in Microsoft Excel. • Capable of managing the preparation of an estimate and supporting proposal team during development of remediation technical approaches. • Leads Project Team estimate reviews. • Collaborates with project teams and management in development of strategies and plans. • Participates in analyzing and using estimations to predict key project issues. • Documents assumptions clearly for 1) communication with the project team during the bid process and 2) execution of work. • Assists in the evaluation of business opportunities and potential profitability. • Understanding and application of financial analysis and calculation of profitability metrics. • Understands construction means, methods, and sequences-multiple disciplines. • Supervises junior staff through task development, establishing and maintaining goals and expectations, and documenting performance related issues and achievements. • Identifies and develops talent. • Actively participates in all staffing issues affecting their area of responsibility. • Assists in tracking action items. • Prepares or assists in the preparation of ROIC and IRR forecasts. • Work directly with subcontractors to resolve technical matters during proposals, negotiation, and contract execution. • Prepares crew build-ups and production rate determinations. • Determines construction equipment selection. • Possesses a working knowledge of planning and scheduling. • Understands company cost structure (overheads, G&A, insurances). • Develops Work Breakdown Structures. • Evaluates suitability of scope and execution plan for basis of estimate. • Initiates the preparation of an Estimate Plan (approach, techniques, level of effort, cost, schedule), Basis of Estimate and qualifications. • Prepares bid tabulations responding to the customer/Request for Proposal requirements. • Collects, analyzes and archives project data. • Develops historical documentation. • Develops current project estimate comparisons with previous performance and market benchmark data. • Helps prepare information for Executive Review Committee presentations.

• Performs a variety of tasks in support of project staff. • Field-based tasks including pedestrian survey, test excavation, and data recovery. • Will also complete data collection on web-based applications and/or field notes and photographs. • Other activities may include assisting with field form completion, data entry, and preparation of site records. • Potential for artifact cataloging and analysis as needed. • Collects and enters data and applies technical principles and theories under supervision.

• Produce clear, defensible cost estimates for the execution of remediation construction projects. • Research and engage potential contractors to obtain competitive quotes for work. • Direct material take-off analysis of design drawings and specifications to determine quantities for cost estimating. • Build bottom‑up cost estimates (labor, equipment, materials, subcontractor). • Develop and document the Basis of Estimate (assumptions, exclusions, methodologies, sources, allowances, contingency, range of accuracy). • Document cost assumptions for communication with project team and execution of work. • Estimate waste characterization, handling, transportation, and disposal costs considering profile requirements, haul distances, and landfill fees. • Collaborate with project teams in development of costing strategies and plans.
