Mobile Service Technician – Emergency Vehicles
Peach State Truck Centers
• Responsible for performing maintenance on trucks from class 5 through class 8 vehicles and recreational vehicles • Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on fire trucks and emergency vehicles • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of firefighting equipment and systems • Collaborate with team members and provide technical support and guidance as necessary
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a fire truck technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Certification or training in fire apparatus maintenance and repair is a plus
- CDL - preferred
- Prior experience with commercial truck repair
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a diesel tech
- Experience with fire truck repair is a giant plus
