• Support Complex Large Accounts as a Secondary CM: Partner with Account Executives on large, multi-layered employer groups (750–3,000 lives). Contribute to strategy, reporting, renewal preparation, vendor coordination, and client deliverables while learning advanced consulting approaches in real time. • Own a Book of Business Independently: Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for a portfolio of smaller large-group clients (100–200 lives). Manage plan-year servicing, respond to client inquiries, coordinate with carriers and vendors, and build strong, trust-based relationships. • Execute Core Benefits Analyst Responsibilities: Handle the tactical and analytical foundation of client servicing, including: - Spreading and analyzing financials for renewals - Carrier marketing and quoting support - Reporting and data analysis - Maintaining and configuring ben-admin systems - Eligibility and billing support - Vendor coordination and day-to-day servicing tasks • Lead Renewal & Open Enrollment Preparation: Build renewal and open enrollment presentations, develop employee education materials, support budget modeling, and ensure timelines are met across all stakeholders. • Create and Present Client Deliverables: Develop decks, reports, and financial summaries and confidently present to HR teams and client leadership for straightforward groups, while supporting senior teammates on more complex presentations. • Strengthen Client Experience: Collaborate cross-functionally with internal operations, member support, and external vendor partners to ensure seamless execution and an elevated client experience throughout the year.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of recent employee benefits experience on the brokerage or consulting side supporting multiple employer clients simultaneously
- Active Health Insurance License required
- Demonstrated, hands-on experience supporting employer groups through renewals, carrier marketing, and open enrollment cycles within a brokerage environment
- Proven proficiency executing Benefits Analyst / Account Management responsibilities including financial spreading, quoting, reporting, and carrier negotiations
- Direct experience working inside or alongside benefits administration systems in a client-servicing capacity
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint / Google Slides skills with the ability to independently build financial analyses and client-ready presentations
- Confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead client calls and present renewal materials for straightforward groups
- Experience managing multiple client timelines, deliverables, and carrier/vendor relationships concurrently
- Professional polish, consultative mindset, and clear desire to grow into broader client ownership and strategic advisory work.
