Project Manager
Zoetis
• Support Zoetis Reference Labs colleagues in managing projects and utilizing standardized project methodologies approved by the PMO • Lead and manage multiple, concurrent projects from initiation through delivery, including laboratory expansion, new test or instrument implementation, operational improvements, and system upgrades • Develop comprehensive project plans and define scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, resources, and budgets • Track and report project status to stakeholders and leadership • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (lab operations, IT, QA, medical/scientific directors, client services, supply chain) • Facilitate project meetings, manage agendas, document actions and decisions, and follow up to ensure accountability • Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies; develop and implement mitigation plans • Oversee change management, including stakeholder communication, documentation, training, and adoption • Liaise with vendors and external partners for project-related deliverables • Monitor project KPIs and conduct post-implementation reviews to drive continuous improvement • Ensure project quality, compliance, and alignment with organizational standards and goals • Aid teams in removing roadblocks and finding solutions • Perform other projects and work as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in science, healthcare, business, or a related field (master’s preferred)
- 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in laboratory, life sciences, or healthcare settings
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent certification highly desirable
- Demonstrated track record managing complex, multidisciplinary projects
- Knowledge of laboratory workflows, LIS/LIMS, instrumentation, and regulatory environments preferred
- Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana)
