IT Network Engineer II

OSIS

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize Cisco and Fortinet network infrastructure. • Configure and support firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and wireless technologies. • Monitor network performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and security issues. • Provide escalation support for Help Desk and infrastructure incidents. • Develop and maintain network documentation, procedures, and standards. • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to support business objectives. • Participate in infrastructure projects and technology initiatives. • Assist with maintaining high levels of network availability, security, and performance. • Participate in an on-call rotation and support after-hours needs when required.

Job Requirements

  • 3–5 years of Network Engineering experience in an enterprise IT environment
  • Cisco CCNA or Fortinet NSE4 certification required
  • Strong experience with: Routing and switching technologies
  • Firewall administration and network security
  • OSPF and Spanning Tree Protocol (STP)
  • IPSEC and SSL VPN technologies
  • Network monitoring and performance tuning
  • Troubleshooting and incident resolution
  • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
  • Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field (preferred)
  • Experience supporting Cisco and Fortinet environments (preferred)
