Senior Business Process Analyst

General Dynamics

• Help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter • Contributes to project success by influencing individuals on and outside of your team • Collects information by engaging in dialogue with staff, reviewing databases, and interpreting reports • Produces reporting on an as-needed basis (daily, weekly, monthly) • Determines business metrics to meet ongoing organizational or client informational needs • Provides data analytics and key insights • Collects detailed project requirements; collaborates with developers to create future state automated workflows • Highlights and defines Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure performance across different sections

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
  • Experience with dashboards and reporting in Microsoft Power BI and Tableau
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Office
  • Experience creating detailed, keystroke-level documentation for end users
  • Experience with Agile methodology and practices
  • Initiative to develop, run, and present project reports
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities
  • Good team player with the ability to adapt to changing client needs
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to present to business leaders
  • Demonstrated experience consulting with internal and external customers to understand business needs and make recommendations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret clearance
  • US Citizenship Required

Description and Requirements The Role The Small Business Analyst/Specialist partners with the assigned sales team to drive growth in the Under 100 markets, supporting Small Business Solutions (SBS) and broader U100 initiatives. This role serves as a U100 market specialist, enhancing small business operations through comprehensive analysis, strategic support, and the implementation of advanced solutions tailored to brokers, GAs, and SMBs. This position reports to the Region Director and works closely with Account Executives in the U100 segment. The role is located in the Philadelphia PA or NYC area. Key Responsibilities Sales Support & Execution - Assist the sales team in developing expertise in U100 and SBS platforms. - Conduct training to increase knowledge of MetLife's U100 and SBS offerings. - Advise sales partners on value-added strategies that optimize U100 business with intermediaries and customers. - Support growth efforts to increase revenue from in-force customers and renewals. Data, Reporting & Insights - Conduct detailed analyses on small business metrics to identify trends and provide actionable insights. - Generate reports, dashboards, and visualizations that highlight broker, GA, and SMB client performance and needs. - Communicate findings clearly to key stakeholders and leadership. What You Need To Succeed (Required Experience) - 1-5+ years in business, sales, analytics, or related fields or Sales Academy Graduate - Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office - Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills with strong attention to detail. - Understanding of business processes and financial principles relevant to brokers, General Agents, and Small Businesses. - Ability to obtain a Life, Accident & Health license within 90 days; must maintain licensing and continuing education.
