Responsibilities include: - Help with marking of assignments and exams - Proctoring of exams - Holding online office hours to assist the professor with addressing student inquiries and concerns outside of class times Qualifications - Bachelor, MSc or PhD in Health Sciences or equivalent - Very good English writing skills to accurately mark essays and long answers on exams - Experience with online learning programs and software as a teaching assistant - Experience with web software (uploading content, programming content) Requirements - Access to a computer, Internet, microphone, and webcam for online course delivery - Availability for scheduled online classes: - Tuesday 13:00 - 14:20 - Thursday 11:30 - 12:50 Benefits - Hourly Rate: $31.89 for undergraduate students; $50.25 for graduate students (2024-2025) - Rates do not include vacation pay nor statutory pay - Retro pay will be applied after the ratification of a new collective agreement
