• Build and maintain high-quality, production-ready web interfaces using React and Next.js. • Own frontend features end-to-end, from implementation through optimization and release. • Translate complex data workflows into intuitive, performant, and responsive user experiences. • Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure reliable data flow. • Contribute to code reviews, architectural discussions, and engineering best practices. • Continuously improve performance, reliability, and maintainability across the web platform. • Help raise the overall engineering bar as the product and team scale.

• You'll build the platform that powers our digital workforce, spanning Django REST APIs, React frontends, AWS Lambda orchestration, and LLM-based agents that execute real business processes. • Building full-stack features across Python (Django) backends and React/TypeScript frontends. • Integrating LLM capabilities into production workflows using frameworks like LangChain. • Creating reliable infrastructure for business-critical automation on AWS (ECS, Lambda, Step Functions)

• Design and engineer delightful developer and end-user experiences • Build a deep understanding of AuthKit’s place in the market and increase its adoption • Accrete developer trust by serving a highly available and secure product • Speak with customers regularly to get feedback, debug issues, and remove points of friction • Collaborate with other product teams, solutions engineering, and our go-to-market team • Work directly with leadership on greenfield ideas • Help recruit and assess future engineering team members

• Architect and implement high-performance authorization systems that support real-time policy evaluation, scalable relationship modeling, and consistent permission enforcement across multi-tenant applications • Build deep domain expertise in authorization paradigms such as RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC, hierarchical FGA, and policy-driven access control, along with best practices for domain modeling and permission boundaries • Work closely with enterprise customers to understand their compliance, governance, and access control requirements, and translate those needs into product features such as delegated administration, advanced auditability, policy versioning, and conditional access • Collaborate cross-functionally with other product teams, solutions engineering, and GTM to ensure Authorization integrates seamlessly with the broader WorkOS platform, including AuthKit, SSO, Directory Sync, Audit Logs and related developer workflows • Explore new greenfield opportunities, including incremental authorization primitives, real-time change propagation, agent identity, policy workflows, richer SDK capabilities, and deeper ecosystem integrations • Play an active role in recruiting, mentoring, and developing the engineering team that will build and refine the Authorization product roadmap
