Staff Software Engineer, Rust Developer

• Contribute to new product development of complex in-browser applications, taking advantage of your holistic view to ensure our application is extensible, scalable, and secure • Balance customer-facing features and technical debt cleanup to keep the software suite sustainable • Architect and implement complex applications that apply ML techniques to large volumes of data, simplifying labor-intensive processes through good user experience • Design systems that work together to deliver a good-performing, reliable application
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience spread across both frontend and backend programming
- Experienced in Rust with additional experience across UI development.
- Experience reading and understanding complex code and improving it
- Experience owning code quality through testing
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills working in a high growth environment
- A collaborative approach to problem-solving
- Curiosity and the ability to learn new things on the job
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to help resolve it
- BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
