Job Summary Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with a strong background in Kotlin programming to join our dynamic team in Guadalajara. The ideal candidate will have 2 5 years of experience in software development, demonstrating a solid understanding of software design principles and best practices. You will be responsible for developing high quality software solutions, collaborating with cross functional teams, and contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle. Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Kotlin. - Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define software requirements and specifications. - Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. - Debug and troubleshoot software issues, providing timely resolutions. - Write and maintain technical documentation for software applications. - Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development processes. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development practices and methodologies. Mandatory Skills: - Strong proficiency in Kotlin programming language. - Experience with software development frameworks and tools. - Solid understanding of object oriented programming (OOP) principles. - Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Skills: - Experience with Android development. - Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - Experience with unit testing and test driven development (TDD). - Understanding of database management systems and SQL. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - 2 5 years of professional experience in software development. - Proven experience in developing applications using Kotlin. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast paced environment.
