Plaintiff's Employment Law Attorney
The Freelance Firm
• Provide in-person coverage for hearings, depositions, mediations, and other proceedings as needed • Provide virtual hearing and deposition coverage when required • Review employment law case files and assist with case strategy • Support wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour, and other plaintiff-side employment matters • Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other employment law documents • Assist with case management and help move matters forward efficiently • Collaborate with attorneys and staff to support ongoing litigation matters
Job Requirements
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of West Virginia
- Located in North or Central West Virginia, preferably in or near the Morgantown area
- Minimum of 5+ years of plaintiff-side employment law experience
- Experience handling wrongful termination and other employment-related claims
- Comfortable providing both in-person and virtual hearing/deposition coverage
- Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills
- Experience with case review, litigation strategy, and case management
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
- Self-starter who can work independently
