Family Law Attorney
The Freelance Firm
• Provide in-person coverage for hearings, depositions, and other court-related proceedings as needed • Review family law case files and assist with case strategy • Help move active matters forward and ensure cases remain on track • Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other family law documents • Assist with case management and litigation support • Collaborate with attorneys and staff to support ongoing family law matters
Job Requirements
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of West Virginia
- Located in North or Central West Virginia, preferably in or near the Morgantown area
- Minimum of 5+ years of family law experience
- Comfortable handling in-person hearings and deposition coverage
- Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills
- Experience with case review, litigation strategy, and case management
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
- Self-starter who can work independently
