Job Description

App Operations Manager

Arise

Role Description Seek a new challenge in an autonomous position where your structured thinking directly influences outcomes. Arise is a globally active weight-loss app with over 8 million downloads and a 4.7 rating on the App Store. Join us to drive our mission—empowering users to become healthier and happier—and help Arise become a leader in Health & Fitness. If you excel in systems, execution, and making a tangible difference with minimal oversight, this role is built for you. - Take ownership of company operations and deliver results that are reliable and measurable. - Design and improve processes to ensure the business runs smoothly. - Organize daily workflows, ensuring smooth operations and eliminating friction. - Lead projects across feature development and marketing with precision and impact. - Manage freelancers effectively—clear expectations, timely delivery, and quality outcomes. - Oversee Support operations, ensuring consistent standards and swift issue resolution. - Conduct regular quality audits and initiate enhancements where necessary. - Ensure legal and data protection compliance—no loose ends. - Own the product roadmap: define, execute, and track milestones. - Translate business goals into technical specifications and maintain transparency with UX/UI, Dev, Marketing, and Leadership. - Analyze market data and competition, deriving actionable insights. - Drive backlog planning, prioritization, and feature rollout—on time, always. - Streamline deployment, QA, support, and documentation with documented SOPs. - Monitor operational KPIs, identify risks, and course correct quickly. - Leverage automation tools for repeatable, reliable operations. - Maintain dashboards and present crisp, data-backed reports to stakeholders. - Design and execute A/B tests to validate improvements. - Coordinate release strategy, bug triage, and ensure OS compatibility. - Support monetization strategies and explore retention or acquisition opportunities. Qualifications - At least 2 years in operations or product management (experience in apps an advantage). - Preferably a business or management bachelor’s degree. - Excellent command of English—German or Russian a plus. - Methodical, precise, and results-oriented in your approach. Requirements - Like making things run smoothly—think well-oiled machine. - Prefer action over layers of delegation—rather than organizing, you do. - Seek results fast and reliably—“meetings that should have been emails” are your enemy. - Are inherently structured, organized, and crystal-clear under pressure. - Thrive in fast-moving, autonomous roles. Benefits - High-impact role with clear deliverables and visible results. - Flat hierarchy, direct collaboration with the CEO. - Remote-friendly and flexible scheduling. - Join a proven, stable organization with solid Health & Fitness roots. - Paid leave and minimal bureaucracy. Ready to apply? Send us: - Your CV - A succinct cover letter describing why you're a great fit for the position. We can’t wait to work with someone who delivers clarity, structure, and results—effortlessly and consistently. Bernhard and Team
