Associate Account Executive

Dodge Construction Network - DCN

• Build and establish a pipeline of new prospects from which to close new sales opportunities • Pursue sales leads and research prospects that match our service offerings • Gain understanding of specialized products, services, markets, and clients • Identify key decision makers and engage with those to introduce the IMS product and services • Perform continued follow-up activities/pipeline management to close new business • Partner with Senior Sales personnel to begin building contacts and identify sales opportunities • Engage with customers over the phone and internet (e.g., chat, email, video conferencing, etc.) to close sales • Successfully complete daily KPI expectations for prospecting, follow-up calls/emails, and other activities • Maintain high call volumes • Update prospecting pipeline through CRM (we use Salesforce!) in real time and show and manage stage progression, anticipated close date, contextual notes, and estimated deal value • Accurately forecast monthly outcomes derived from pipeline, activity, and deal specific data summation • Send proposals and process contracts through company systems • Dutifully record, process and complete customer data entry through discovery and qualification process in Salesforce

Job Requirements

  • 1+ years of relevant sales experience; preferably selling SaaS/technology related products or services with a track record of consistently closing new business
  • 4+ years of general work experience
  • Superior personal integrity and ownership of outcomes, and coachable mindset
  • Relationship building and client-centric skills
  • Ability to coach customers on best practices; uncover pain points and recommend solutions
  • Exhibit an empathetic small business growth mindset to identify meaningful opportunities for prospects benefit
  • Ability to cold call and build a resourceful pipeline
  • Possess exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and be an active listener
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools (we use Salesforce!), including solid understanding of CRM and order management functionality, as well as desktop software programs including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Web/tech savvy with an aptitude to learn new SaaS products.

As a Territory Manager at Halter, you will play a critical role in driving new business growth and ensuring customer success within your designated territory. You will be responsible for executing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and meeting ambitious growth targets, all while acting as Halter’s on-the-ground representative. This role requires a proactive and hands-on approach, with a focus on both expansion and long-term customer satisfaction. In this role, you will prioritize daily efforts that optimize performance and drive value for your customers. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Support, and Customer Onboarding, you’ll share field insights to ensure Halter’s technology continues to meet the needs of US farmers. Your day-to-day could include being on horseback, helping customers gather their cattle, on a side-by-side traversing their pastures, talking about how Halter could benefit their pastures, or attending industry events like CattleCon or your local Livestock Association meetups. Compensation: 125K to 160K OTE This person will oversee the West Texas. This position requires frequent travel, approx 75% What your day could look like Prospecting New Business: You’re driving up driveways, attending local cattle auctions, meeting with your local Livestock, Cattlemans, Stockmans associations, building your new business pipeline through outbound lead generation efforts. You’re fielding inbound leads in a timely manner, prioritizing administrative tasks with your in-field activities. In-Field Sales: You don’t mind getting your hands and boots dirty. Halter is best discussed over a coffee at a kitchen table, in the horse saddle, or on a side-by-side in a pasture. You’re out on the ranch helping potential customers before diving into the value of Halter. You’re dropping off coffee during calving season. You value the magic moments that make all the difference to our customers. Expanding Existing Opportunities: You’re always looking for new opportunities, and that includes expanding your existing customers with Halter. You find value in expanding relationships and finding new ways to increase value over time.
