Role Description Solve real-world challenges that impact the frontlines of public health, life science, and clinical research initiatives as a Senior Clinical Science Advisor at GDIT. You’ll support the mission and grow with it, building a meaningful career in health. As a Senior Clinical Science Advisor, the work you’ll do at GDIT will directly support the mission of Federal Health agencies within the Department of Health & Human Services. You will play a crucial role in advancing evidence-based policy initiatives, clinical trial innovation, regulatory transformation, and real-world data services that improve health outcomes and accelerate scientific decision making. You will also provide broad consulting with technical Federal Health teams to address the customer’s clinical science needs across biomedical, public health, and regulatory domains. - Support emergent real time clinical trial activities and related regulatory transformation such as new paradigms for validating clinical evidence, novel clinical trial data analyses, and modernized clinical trial operations. - Support development and implementation of Real-World Evidence (RWE) and Real World Data (RWD) strategies that inform regulatory, policy, and scientific priorities. - Provide scientific advising and consulting across a range of biomedical, clinical, and public health areas, ensuring sound methodology, scientific integrity, and alignment with agency standards. - Collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams—including data scientists, program managers, policy experts, and customer stakeholders—to ensure scientific rigor and mission alignment. - Drive scientific insight, problem solving, and recommendations that enable customers to modernize workflows, accelerate program execution, and achieve measurable mission impact. - Serve as a scientific reviewer and advisor for program initiatives, supporting study design, evidence generation, data interpretation, and best practices for evaluation. - Utilize expertise in regulatory science, biomedical research, and evidence frameworks to guide program decisions, develop methodologies, and support mission-critical projects. Qualifications - Education: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in a life science or related discipline. - Experience: 15+ years of related scientific, regulatory, or biomedical research experience. - Leadership Experience managing large scientific teams; leading scientific studies; and representing clients in government facing activities. - Technical skills: Experience with RWE/RWD methodologies, regulatory science policy, scientific consulting, and public health or biomedical research methods. - Security clearance level: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. US person is required. - Role requirements: Remote work model with potential travel; ability to collaborate across multiple Operating Divisions within HHS; flexibility to support general scientific consulting needs across programs. Requirements - The likely salary range for this position is $54,094 - $73,185. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Role Description As part of our CDS Therapeutic area / Ophthalmology team, you will work alongside passionate and innovative professionals to ensure our customers achieve their goals. The Trial Master File Lead is responsible for organizing, maintaining, and overseeing the Trial Master File (TMF) according to company policies, SOPs, Work Instructions, regulatory requirements, PM delegation, and coordinating main tasks under TMF Business Line. This role may act as Line Manager for TMF Associates. - Create the Study TMF EDL in cooperation with PM (Project Manager) and study team. - Create the first draft of TMF Plan, implement changes after review, generate final version, and distribute final version to the study team. - Create TMF at Trial, Country, and Site Level (paper TMF). - Control if the Electronic Trial Master File (eTMF) at Trial, Country, and Site Level was properly created by Clinical Business Administrator (CBA) team when TFS system is used. - Inform the study team that TMF is created and ready for document upload for eTMF or submission to paper TMF (pTMF). - Actively follow up with the study team to ensure documentation is submitted following the process described in The TMF Plan and that the TMF is always audit and inspection ready. - Set up the Investigator’s File as directed by Clinical Research Manager (CRM) and forward the CRM a tracker of all document sections within the ISF.
