Role Description The Cybersecurity Engineer II is an expert in Microsoft Azure Identity and Access Management (IAM) best practices, technologies, and processes. The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of: - Active Directory - Entra ID - Azure AD Connect - Conditional Access Policies - Identity Governance (RBAC, Access Reviews, etc.) - Authentication technologies Experience and proficiency with identity in AWS is a strong preference. The candidate must have extensive knowledge of IAM standard methodologies and be able to guide other teams on how to best utilize cloud identity governance and management solutions. This role focuses on maturing IAM governance within Azure while ensuring a secure and seamless experience across a multi-cloud environment. In this role, the Cybersecurity Engineer II will focus on cloud identity within Azure, developing standards, processes, and procedures to mature IAM governance across the platform. This includes: - Designing and implementing identity solutions - Integrating IAM technologies with business systems - Supporting ongoing improvements to identity controls and processes Candidates with experience developing IAM strategies, leading implementations and platform updates, and holding professional Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Azure Security Engineer Associate are highly desired. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, detail-oriented team player who thrives in a fast-paced, technically complex environment and has a passion for mentoring others, driving process simplification, and enhancing the overall user experience. This is a remote position. In this role, you would work Monday through Friday normal business hours and can be a remote position if you live in the following states only: AL, AK, AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, WV & WY. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, or related field - Four to six years of experience in enterprise-scale information security engineering, preferably in healthcare - One to three years of experience in a healthcare environment or equivalent combination of relevant education, technical, business, and healthcare experience - Experience with IT operations, automation of cybersecurity processes, coding and scripting languages - Experience with assessing cyber products, including vendor selection and defining requirements - Proficient understanding of regulatory and compliance mandates, including HIPAA, HITECH, PCI, Sarbanes-Oxley - Advanced knowledge of Security Engineering Principles, including risk management, resilience, vulnerability management - Expertise in Cyber products supporting Data Loss Prevention, EDR, AntiVirus, Perimeter services, Threat systems, cyber platform analytics, SIEM, CASB, CLOUD Security Requirements - Independent judgment and critical decision-making skills - Excellent analytical skills with verbal and written communication - Ability to think quickly under difficult or complex conditions - Ability to balance project workloads with customer support and on-call demands - Communication and presentation skills to engage technical and non-technical audiences - Ability to mentor less experienced team members - Variable shifts and hours may be required, including responding to after-hours notifications Preferred Qualifications - Certification in two or more of the following areas: SSCP, HCISPP, CompTIA Security+, CISSP – Engineering (ISSEP), CEH, SANS GIAC, or CISA - Three plus years as a System Administrator, Security Operations, or in IT Operations - Three plus years in risk management or GRC experience in the healthcare/medical environment - Additional related education and/or experience preferred Benefits Your pay and benefits (Total Rewards) are important components of your Journey at Banner Health. Role Description We are seeking an Information Assurance Specialist who will serve as the lead for security and compliance across complex, cloud-based systems supporting federal programs implementing Salesforce and AWS products. This person will ideally be a motivated and customer-oriented cybersecurity professional who will act as a key advisor to cloud program teams.
