Role Description As a mid-level Video Editor, you'll take ownership of edits from brief to delivery — working independently across a fast-moving, high-volume content slate. You'll collaborate closely with creative and account partners, adapting and cutting video assets across multiple formats and platforms with speed, precision, and a strong eye for what performs. This role suits someone who is comfortable working remotely and autonomously, managing multiple projects at once, and delivering consistently polished work to tight deadlines. - Edit and deliver video content across performance media, social media, and occasional longer-form brand formats. - Cut and adapt video assets for multiple platforms and formats — including paid social, display, and digital — optimising for each channel's specifications and audience behaviour. - Use Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to produce polished, on-brand edits to a production-ready standard. - Collaborate with creative and account partners to interpret briefs and deliver edits that meet both creative and commercial objectives. - Manage revisions efficiently, incorporating feedback clearly and to deadline. - Maintain organised project files, asset libraries, and archiving systems. - Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising effectively and communicating progress clearly. - Support the continuous improvement of edit workflows, templates, and asset management processes. Qualifications - Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects — confident across both tools for editing, motion, and asset adaptation. - Experience editing performance media and paid social video, with a strong understanding of what drives engagement and conversion in paid channels. - Ability to cut and adapt content across multiple formats, sizes, and platform specifications efficiently. - Strong sense of pacing, rhythm, and visual storytelling. - Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment and managing a varied, fast-moving workload. - Delivers consistently high-quality work to brief and deadline without close supervision. - Clear communication with creative and non-creative collaborators in a remote-first setting. - Experience with longer-form brand or product content is a plus. - Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop is a plus — and a willingness to use it across projects is welcomed. - A portfolio or showreel demonstrating a range of edited work, with performance or social video examples strongly preferred. Requirements - At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $85,000.00 to $95,000.00. - Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. - The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package.
