Role Description We are seeking a highly strategic and action oriented Senior Director, Head of Corporate Strategy to lead Medison’s enterprise strategy. Reporting directly to the Chief Business Officer, this leader will be part of the Business Development and Corporate Strategy leadership team and responsible for shaping the company’s strategic planning process and long-term enterprise growth. Responsibilities - Lead the development and execution of Medison’s annual strategic planning and long-range enterprise strategy, in close partnership with the CBO and Executive Team. - Define and continuously refine Medison’s enterprise growth strategy, including evaluation of strategic priorities, business expansion opportunities, and capability-building needs. - Build and maintain a robust understanding of industry dynamics, including competitor strategies, market shifts, therapeutic area trends, regulatory developments, and emerging business models across the biopharma ecosystem. - Develop best-in-class strategic frameworks, benchmarks, and analytical models to assess growth opportunities, market attractiveness, competitive positioning, and strategic trade-offs. - Lead competitive intelligence efforts, including benchmarking of peer companies, business models, organizational capabilities, portfolio strategies, and partnership approaches. - Assess and prioritize strategic partnership opportunities that could accelerate Medison’s growth, enhance capabilities, or expand access to innovation. - Partner closely with Business Development, Finance, Commercial, Medical, and other functions to ensure strategy is informed by robust cross-functional insights and grounded in execution realities. - Shape Board of Directors and Executive team discussions, develop high quality decision support materials, strategic reviews, with clear, data-driven recommendations. - Identify key strategic risks and opportunities and proactively develop scenario plans and mitigation strategies to support enterprise resilience and agility. - Drive strategic special projects and enterprise-level analyses as requested by the CBO and Executive Leadership Team. - Serve as a thought partner to senior leaders across the organization, helping translate strategic priorities into clear choices, measurable initiatives, and aligned action plans. - Help establish and institutionalize a strategy management cadence, including KPI tracking, strategic initiative monitoring, and periodic reassessment of assumptions and priorities.
