What You’ll Do As a Mental Health Therapist at Kolmac, you will be at the center of patient care—building strong therapeutic relationships and delivering high-quality, evidence-based treatment. You’ll lead therapy groups, facilitate individual sessions, and contribute to integrated treatment plans within our collaborative treatment environment. Clinical Responsibilities Include: · Provide individual and group psychotherapy for adults. · Work in person at our Columbia, MD location from 12:30-8:30 PM with a flexible one-day option to work from home. · Develop and maintain person-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans · Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and level-of-care determinations · Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment approaches, and symptom management to support insight, empowerment, and recovery · Design and deliver engaging process, psychoeducational and skills groups focused on emotional regulation, coping skills, and mental wellness. · Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and fellow therapists to provide integrated mental health care · Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and discharge planning · Case management services such as, but not limited to, coordinated care with families, referral sources, and external providers as appropriate · Demonstrates commitment to excellent patient care, which is measured through clinical outcomes, such as patient retention, attendance, successful program completion, transitioning from one level of care to another. · Provide crisis support through a shared on-call rotation · Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely · Other duties as assigned.
