Senior Consultant/Team Lead-Finance Functional(Tax)

Role Description - Lead the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Oracle ERP Cloud Tax (ZX) solutions. - Gather and analyze tax-related business requirements from finance, tax, and accounting stakeholders. - Configure Oracle ERP Cloud Tax including: - Tax regimes - Taxes and tax statuses - Tax rates - Tax rules - Tax recovery - Tax exemptions - Tax reporting requirements - Collaborate with Finance, AP, AR, Procurement, Projects, and General Ledger teams to ensure end-to-end tax compliance. - Work closely with onshore functional leads, business users, and project managers. - Support integrations involving third-party tax engines such as: - Vertex - Avalara - Participate in solution design workshops and provide recommendations based on Oracle leading practices. - Prepare functional specifications and support technical development activities. - Lead SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution. - Support data migration, cutover, and post-production stabilization activities. - Ensure compliance with U.S. indirect tax requirements and reporting standards. Qualifications - 8+ years of Oracle ERP experience with at least 4+ years in Oracle ERP Cloud. - Strong hands-on experience configuring Oracle ERP Cloud Tax (ZX). - Experience with: - Oracle Payables - Oracle Receivables - Oracle General Ledger - Oracle Procurement - Ability to independently configure and troubleshoot tax setups. - Experience in full lifecycle Oracle ERP Cloud implementations. - Strong understanding of U.S. tax regulations, indirect tax processes, and compliance requirements. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to work effectively with distributed global teams. Preferred Qualifications - Oracle Cloud certifications in Financials or Tax. - Experience with quarterly Oracle Cloud updates and impact assessments. Working Model - Remote/Offshore role. - Must collaborate with U.S.-based onshore team. - Mandatory overlap of 3–4 hours daily with U.S. business hours. - Ability to participate in critical project meetings, workshops, and go-live support activities. En effet, face à plusieurs problématiques de disponibilité rencontrées ces derniers mois, notre client souhaite définir une politique robuste de gestion des pièces de rechange critiques afin de sécuriser l'exploitation de sa flotte, garantir la continuité de la chaîne du froid et limiter les risques d'immobilisation. L'objectif est d'identifier les composants devant être disponibles en permanence à bord afin d'assurer la continuité des opérations des systèmes essentiels du navire, notamment ceux contribuant à l'alimentation électrique et à l'exploitation des conteneurs reefers.
