Role Description Moodro is seeking a strong junior to mid-level legal specialist to support its international legal function. The role will focus on commercial legal support for business development, partner due diligence, contract coordination, corporate documentation, and legal research across the U.S. and EU markets. The position is well suited for a sales-oriented lawyer with fluent English, strong drafting and coordination skills, and the ability to work closely with business development, procurement, finance, and management teams. The position is expecting a person acting as a coordination point for routine legal requests and ensuring timely follow-up with internal and external stakeholders. Experience with defence, security, dual-use, aerospace, government contracting, or regulated technology sectors will be a significant advantage. Key Responsibilities - Support the BD team in preparing responses to RFIs, RFPs, tenders, partner questionnaires, and customer requests. - Review and draft legal and compliance sections of RFI/RFP documentation, including eligibility, certifications, representations, sanctions, export control, anti-corruption, and confidentiality requirements. - Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs, partner agreements, cooperation agreements, vendor documents, and other standard commercial legal documents. - Maintain and update contract templates, clause banks, standard legal responses, and internal legal checklists and guidelines. - Coordinate execution of agreements, including signature processes, internal approvals, and document filing. - Track contractual obligations, renewal dates, notice periods, and key legal milestones. - Conduct legal and compliance due diligence on partners, vendors, subcontractors, and other counterparties and prepare concise due diligence summaries and risk notes for internal stakeholders. - Maintain Moodro’s internal legal data room and ensure that key corporate, contractual, compliance, and procurement documents are properly organized and updated. - Coordinate with procurement teams on supplier onboarding, legal documentation, vendor due diligence, and procurement-related contract requirements. - Conduct legal research on laws relevant to Moodro’s international operations (USA, EU), including commercial law, procurement, sanctions, export controls, data protection, defence-related requirements, and corporate governance. - Prepare short, practical research notes, summaries, and recommendations for internal legal and business use. Qualifications - Law degree - 2+ years of experience on position of junior lawyer - Fluent written and spoken English. - Strong legal drafting, reviewing, and research skills. - Experience with NDAs, commercial agreements, corporate documentation, and legal coordination processes. - Ability to work with business teams and provide practical, commercially oriented legal support. - High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. - Ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, and stakeholders.
