Legal Operations Leader
Corteva Agriscience
Role Description Corteva is searching for a Legal Operations Leader. This position is a senior leader responsible for transforming and operating the legal function as a high-performing, scalable business unit. This role owns the legal operating model and works closely with the General Counsel and executive leadership to ensure Legal scales efficiently, leverages technology and AI, and enables rapid business growth while maintaining strong governance and cost discipline. - Define and execute a multi-year Legal Operations strategy aligned to enterprise objectives. - Lead legal technology strategy, selection, implementation, and optimization including CLM, matter management, eBilling, and AI-enabled tools. - Partner with Legal, Finance, IT, Procurement, and business stakeholders to modernize legal operations. - Lead mergers, divestitures, spin-offs, and major enterprise integrations impacting Legal. - Design and standardize global legal processes using operational excellence methodologies. - Own legal financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, accruals, metrics, and spend analytics. - Manage global vendors, law firms, and legal technology providers. - Build, mentor, and lead high-performing global Legal Operations teams. - Drive process improvement, change management, user adoption, and global enablement programs. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred. - 12+ years of experience in Legal Operations, enterprise operations, or transformation roles. - Proven experience implementing legal and enterprise systems at global scale. - Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior leadership. - Strong legal technology, AI, and vendor management background. - Experience with SAP, CLM platforms, and legal workflow systems preferred. - Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
