Math Instructor
Achieve Test Prep
• Prepare and tutor adult learners pursuing college credit through mathematics courses and examinations • Teach either a 3-hour session per week or provide 1-hour individual tutoring lessons • Deliver engaging, easy-to-understand instruction on mathematical concepts • Simplify complex mathematical concepts into practical, relatable examples • Adapt instruction in real-time to accommodate varying experience levels • Track student progress and share key observations with the eLearning team
Job Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in teaching, tutoring, or applying mathematics
- Strong understanding of algebra, statistics, and foundational mathematics concepts
- Professional experience in an academic or professional setting
- Degree or academic background in Mathematics, Statistics, Education, Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
- Comfortable using Zoom, Moodle, Google Workspace, and other eLearning technologies
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and educational backgrounds
- Reliable high-speed internet connection, functional computer, and noise-canceling headset
