Role Description Everforth ECS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer with extensive experience in designing, building and maintaining large scale API's for enterprise level applications in support of the Department of Homeland Security. Tools necessary for excelling in this role include Java (with Maven, Gradle, etc), JavaScript Frontend frameworks (React, Angular, etc), Elastic and other data sources, and DevSecOps in the Cloud. This role will focus heavily on modernizing legacy systems with deprecated code bases, requiring both technical expertise and creative problem-solving abilities. You will play a critical role in rearchitecting our application's API infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability and long-term maintainability. - Support the design and architecture of robust, scalable API's for large enterprise level applications. - Integrate and operate CI/CD pipelines used for building and releasing code and container images. - Assess and refactor deprecated code bases implementing best practices for modernization and performance improvement. - Collaborate with engineers to integrate React-based user interfaces with scalable APIs, leveraging React expertise to enhance API interactions, support legacy system modernization, and ensure seamless functionality and optimal user experience. - Provide solutions for legacy system migration while minimizing system downtime and operational risks. - Identify and resolve technical debt in older systems while transitioning them to modern Java frameworks and tools. Qualifications - Must have US citizenship. - Ability to pass a Public Trust investigation. - Bachelor's degree in a related field. - Minimum 15 years of general work experience. - 8+ years with Java (8 and beyond) with strong experience in legacy system modernization. - 5+ years developing responsive web apps using React, Redux, and modern JavaScript. - Strong background in API development, including 5+ years building RESTful microservices and service-oriented architectures. - 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and deploying/operating in AWS or Azure Cloud environments. - 3+ years of experience with Springboot or other stateless Java frameworks. - 3+ years developing applications in a production setting and troubleshooting complex issues within legacy environments and proposing effective solutions. - 3+ years experience with Python. - Solid understanding of Git, version control workflows, and collaborative development practices. - Familiarity with CX and UI/UX principles and their application in modern software design. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical challenges and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

• Develop, test, and validate mathematical models, numerical algorithms, prototypes, simulations, data analysis and data synthesis • Learn about and work with a variety of data types, including raw or derived data originating from GNSS receivers, communications systems, radio frequency systems, and other space and ground-based sensing modalities, as well as any related data formats • Assist in shaping and refining new and existing products • Provide subject matter expertise to the capture teams in the review and evaluation of funding opportunities and the subsequent bid and proposal process • Support product demonstrations, business development, customer engagement, and company outreach functions • Author or co-author various forms of internal and external reports, presentations and documents, including journal and/or conference papers • Attend industry events to present the findings of your work and network with industry leaders • Perform other duties as assigned (to be less than 10% of the responsibilities listed above)

• Lead complex forward-deployed engagements from discovery through production adoption • Architect custom systems across AI, forecasting, optimization, simulation, and decision-support workflows • Design application patterns that connect Maybern's platform to customer-specific logic, data, and operating processes • Build evaluation, control, and validation frameworks for high-stakes outputs • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to senior customer stakeholders • Mentor engineers across the Forward Deployed Engineering team • Identify when bespoke work should become reusable product capability or shared platform infrastructure • Help define standards, technical direction, and operating practices for the function

• Lead complex enterprise deployments and implementations of the Pulsora platform for global customers • Partner directly with customer stakeholders to understand business processes, technical requirements, and ESG reporting workflows • Design and implement AI-enabled solutions that improve automation, compliance, reporting, and operational efficiency • Use AI-first engineering practices including AI coding assistants, prompt engineering, rapid prototyping, vibe coding, and LLM-powered application development • Rapidly build proofs-of-concept, internal tools, automations, integrations, dashboards, and lightweight applications • Configure workflows, validations, ETL pipelines, analytics, integrations, and reporting within the Pulsora platform • Develop reusable implementation accelerators and AI-powered tooling that improve delivery speed and scalability • Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product teams to influence roadmap priorities based on customer feedback • Lead solution workshops, architecture reviews, product demonstrations, and technical deep dives • Troubleshoot technical escalations and serve as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers • Support customer adoption, quarterly business reviews, and annual reporting cycles
