Role Description The Certified Pharmacy Technician supports Pharmacists in Specialty Rx medication preparation by dispensing Specialty Rx medications. The Specialty Operations Certified Pharmacy Technician performs varied activities, semi-routine assignments and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments to include computations. Certified Pharmacy Technician Main Responsibilities: - Receive in-bound phone calls from patients and providers - Enter prescription orders into the system - Support pharmacists and patients by ensuring adherence to Specialty Rx specific operational processes developed to optimize health outcomes - Interpret area/department policies, practices and methods for completing assignments with some opportunity for interpretation and/or independent discretion - Work within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards - Work under minimal direction Position Hours: An 8-hour shift, Monday-Friday within one of the following shifts: - 9:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. EST - 10:00 a.m.-6:30 p.m. EST You will report to a Supervisor, Specialty Pharmacy Operations.
