Role Description SAIC has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Business Process Analyst to join a high-performance team that is spearheading our customers (VA) migration to the cloud. This is a 100% Remote role. - Provides expertise on continuous process improvement strategies, organizational redesign, change management projects, and performance measures for basic business process engagements. - Defines and develops business processes, policies, roles and responsibilities, and performance metrics. - Conducts analysis of business processes including: - Current state analysis - Gap analysis - Benchmarking - Best practices identification - Organizational assessment - Other related tasks - Plans and implements process improvements including: - Future state design - Change management - Transition planning - Interfaces with all project areas including: - Customer - Computer services - Client services - Provides oversight for the development and maintenance of quality programs, systems, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance and performance quality. - Proven knowledge in Agile and SAFe methodologies, with a strong understanding of how to apply both flexible, iterative project management (Agile) and the framework for scaling those principles across a large organization (SAFe). - Provides expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and agency guidelines to ensure compliance. - Works with operating entities to provide continuous process analyses oversight to enforce requirements and meet guidelines. - May coordinate with business and technology teams to ascertain system requirements. - Conducts client interviews. - May deliver presentations and training courses on measurement, analysis, improvement, and control. - May perform cost and benefit analysis. - Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field. - Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives. - Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance. - Work is reviewed by management to measure whether objectives have been met. - Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. - Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives. - Works under only general direction. - Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. - Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. - Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. - Contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects. - Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts. - Represents organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects. Qualifications - Proven knowledge in Agile and SAFe methodologies. - Experience with principles and practices of Agile and SAFe. - Ability to align strategy, manage large portfolios, and improve collaboration. Requirements - Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field. - Ability to work independently and determine solutions. - Good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Our work includes national partnerships with organizations such as Idaho National Laboratory and the American Water Works Association, and we have led efforts to bring Cyber-informed Engineering (CIE) and Consequence-driven, Cyber-informed Engineering (CCE) methodologies to the water sector. OTCR delivers complete Operations Technology (OT) design and implementation, technical program management, and resilience planning across multiple practice areas, including Resilience, Innovation, Electrical/Instrumentation/Controls, and Process Controls & Optimization.
