Role Commute Consultants cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with employers and/or other stakeholders within a geographic area and work to maintain existing and establish new relationships as part of a broader regional effort to change commuter behaviors. Some expected tasks include: - Developing excellent client relationships to keep employers interested and involved in initiatives, from brand new to well-established employers. - Generate new employer partners through networking, cold-calling, and other outreach efforts. - Increase program awareness and participation rates of existing employer partners. - Hosting employer events to educate employers on how sustainable transportation programs benefit employees and companies. - Preparing and delivering presentations. - Engaging worksites in modal promotions. - Helping employers register employees for services. - Assisting with the implementation of programs and initiatives. - Tracking engagement and activities using salesforce.com. - Lead the creation and provide guidance on employer program resources/materials/webinars. - Oversee fulfillment of swag, program incentives, brochure requests, and staff completion of fulfillment requests. - Assist commuters experiencing issues with the commute tracking and perks app/website. - Consult with employers to implement effective commuter benefit programs. Required Skills and Experience The selected candidate must have: - BA Degree related to transportation, urban planning, sales, marketing, communications, or public relations. - Up to five years’ experience working in the public, private, or non-profit sector in a TDM, transportation planning, sales, or marketing-related field. - Deep knowledge of transportation planning concepts and the benefits of multi-modal transportation options. - Intricate knowledge of TDM best practices and initiatives and the ability to bring fresh insight into existing project work. - Familiarity with the Atlanta region and of best practices related to transportation initiatives both past, present, and future. Compensation And individual with a relevant bachelor’s degree, deep knowledge of transportation planning concepts, and 1 year of relevant experience would earn $67,100. Salary can be as much as $86,500 with additional education and experience.
