Kubernetes Engineer
Bart & Associates, Inc.
• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes-based containerized application environments • Configure and maintain Kubernetes clusters in cloud-native infrastructures • Support container networking, orchestration, and cluster scalability • Deploy and manage applications using Helm charts • Automate CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and system integration • Monitor and maintain Kubernetes platform health, performance, and availability • Implement Kubernetes security best practices and access controls • Utilize monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack • Troubleshoot containerized applications, cluster performance, and networking issues • Implement and support service mesh architectures such as Istio or Linkerd • Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation using Terraform or Ansible • Collaborate with development, cloud, and DevOps teams to optimize deployments and operations
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cloud Computing, or related field required OR Minimum of five (5) years of equivalent professional experience in Kubernetes administration
- Experience designing and managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments
- Experience supporting cloud-native and containerized infrastructures
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline automation and DevOps methodologies preferred
- Strong Kubernetes administration and orchestration experience
- Experience deploying and managing containerized applications
- Knowledge of container networking and Kubernetes cluster management
- Experience with Helm chart deployment and package management
- Experience automating CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure services including AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience implementing Kubernetes security best practices
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
- Experience troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads
- Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd
- Experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools including Terraform or Ansible
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
