Area Sales Manager – Rohrsysteme

PolyTALENT GmbH

• Responsibility for sales, margin and profitable growth within the sales territory Germany or DACH • Active acquisition of new customers and targeted market development as the main focus of the role • Expansion of existing key accounts among processors, trading partners, distributors and project customers • Development and implementation of a regional sales and market approach strategy • Conducting price, terms and contract negotiations at decision-maker and management level • Launch and market introduction of new products in close coordination with internal stakeholders • Analysis of market potentials, competitors, customer developments and pipeline in the CRM system • Management of sales activities from first contact to closing in field sales and remotely • Close collaboration with internal teams from product management, inside sales and international contacts • Regular travel within the DACH region

Job Requirements

  • Degree in business, engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience as an Area Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Key Account Manager or Sales Engineer in technical B2B sales
  • Industry background ideally from one or more of the following areas: water, wastewater and drainage systems (e.g., municipal infrastructure, civil engineering, sewer construction)
  • Proven success as an active sales professional with a hunter mentality: focus is on acquiring new customers and markets, not only on account maintenance
  • Strong negotiation, closing and relationship-building skills
  • Technical understanding is an advantage but not required: product-specific knowledge will be provided internally
  • Entrepreneurial mindset as well as an independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working
  • Confident use of CRM systems and MS Office
  • Fluent German and English for communication in national and international environments
  • Residence in Germany and willingness to travel regularly within the DACH region
