Data Managers assist and support the Project team in planning, preparing, organizing, controlling, and submitting contractually required data, as well as manage the release and control of a wide variety of program related documentation. The work is guided by Data Management policies and procedures. This fast-paced role is vital to the performance of a program throughout its lifecycle. This position entails: - Exercising discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties. - Communicating effectively both orally and in writing. - Strong understanding of Microsoft Office products (Word, Power Point, Excel). - Exhibiting sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel, customers and suppliers. - Utilizing computer skills to prepare appropriate reports and documents. - Making decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations. - Analyzing, evaluating, developing and implementing processes and systems within budget and adhere to schedules/deadlines. Essential Functions of a Data Manager are: - Follows systems necessary to ensure that assigned, required data is compiled, prepared, reviewed, approved, published and submitted to or received from the customer in quality form, on time, and within budget. - Contributes to a configuration/data management plan, when required, to define and provide an integrated system for the analysis, planning, monitoring, storage and retrieval, status reporting, receipt and submission of data required on a program. - Implements processes and procedures necessary for the generation of the data items and monitors adherence and quality to the CDRLs and DIDs. - Ensures the establishment, maintenance and project level control of master files for all data in accordance with a Configuration/Data Management Plan. - Reviews all deliverable data for conformance to customer requirements and coordinates this effort with the preparing function. - Analyzes requirements of contractual data to establish and/or provide direction to preparing groups. - Establishes program milestone targets for each data element and develops methods/procedures of reporting progress against these milestones. - Maintains knowledge of Data Item Descriptions (DID), applicable MIL-STD and Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs). - Prepares reports/briefings for program management as required in fulfilling the role established for data management on the program. - Performs other duties and responsibilities as required. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. • Own the space between business intent and technical execution. • Work directly with clients to shape requirements and protect delivery scope. • Write User Stories consumed directly by developers and QA. • Facilitate 3 Amigos sessions before each sprint. • Serve as the primary liaison between the client and the internal delivery team. • Lead scope conversations directly and assess new requests against MVP boundaries. • Participate actively in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and retrospectives. • Review deliverables against acceptance criteria during QA and UAT.

• Work in close partnership with the Manager Oracle Services, Business Analysts, Systems Analysts, Business Process Owners, Developers, and End Users, to optimize and automate supply chain, manufacturing, and commercial business processes specific to the Oracle application • Play a critical role in identifying opportunities to add business value, pursue improved or new technology functionality, and drive the maximum level of standardization of business processes and technology across the entire corporation • Plan, design, test, and deploy efficient information systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes • Develop business cases, gathering detailed business and systems requirements and user stories/journeys • Apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments • This position requires 20% domestic travel and 5% international travel.
