Role Description AMD Advanced Rendering and Engineering brings together cross-disciplinary teams at the intersection of graphics research and product development. In this role, you will help shape cutting-edge software that enables developers and publishers to build immersive, high-performance gaming experiences optimized for AMD hardware. You will work closely with research engineers, graphics specialists, and external development partners to turn innovative concepts into production-ready technologies. Qualifications - Background in computer science or a related field. - Experience writing efficient high-level shader code such as HLSL SM6, GLSL, Slang, or similar, alongside modern C++. - Knowledge of real-time rendering and graphics algorithms. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. - Knowledge of applied mathematics, especially linear algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. - Familiarity with modern game console and desktop GPU architectures. - Understanding of low-level machine learning concepts and design patterns, including automatic differentiation, computational graphs, and tensor broadcasting. - Experience working with modern machine learning libraries such as PyTorch or TensorFlow. - Knowledge of physically based rendering algorithms, including sampling, shading, and light transport. - Experience with modern graphics APIs such as DirectX 12 or Vulkan. - Experience contributing to shipped AAA game titles is preferred. - Willingness to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally. Role Description Lead the architecture and design of secure Kubernetes platforms (EKS, GKE and hybrid environments - Openshift) across public and private cloud, ensuring scalability, resilience, and compliance. - Define and implement secure-by-default Kubernetes patterns, including RBAC, network segmentation, workload identity, secrets management, and policy-as-code (OPA/Gatekeeper). - Develop and standardize Kubernetes security reference architectures, blueprints, and reusable modules aligned with enterprise architecture and governance standards. - Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to assess emerging Kubernetes and container security solutions, translating findings into scalable enterprise capabilities. - Drive risk assessment and remediation strategies by evaluating Kubernetes and cloud security posture against CIS benchmarks, Cloud Control Matrix, and enterprise policies. - Contribute to and enhance platform automation, leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code and policy-as-code to enforce consistent security controls at scale. - Act as a technical SME and advisor, supporting application teams in designing and deploying secure containerized workloads. - Partner with Engineering, Cloud Platform, and InfoSec teams to embed security into Kubernetes platforms and developer workflows, enabling secure and frictionless adoption.
