Webinar and Digital Class Content Creator WestStar MultiMedia Entertainment, Inc. is proud to be one of America’s most trusted sources for tech advice. We’re looking for an experienced writer well-versed in tech to assist us to create webinar and virtual education content. Project Overview: - Write content for an 8-hour course based on an outline provided by the content team. - Review the assigned outline and create a cohesive script and all associated documents. - Edit and revise the script to ensure clarity and effectiveness. - Incorporate persuasive elements and interactive techniques to encourage engagement, including quizzes and video elements. Qualifications: - Excellent writing and editing skills - Strong storytelling abilities - Proficiency in adapting content for webinar and course formats (strongly preferred) - Familiarity with webinar scripts, webinars, or Learning Management Systems (strongly preferred) - Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines - Responsive, consistent, and effective communicator - A self-starter who is willing to take initiative and complete tasks - Ability to work remotely and on their own schedule to make deadlines - Google Workspace experience preferred This position is remote. Applicants must be comfortable coordinating in a remote environment and are expected to maintain a high level of communication. Responsibilities: - Understand key audiences and create copy to drive engagement regarding WestStar Media’s webinar and course content. - Effectively communicate with other WestStar Media team members remotely. - Compensation: $0.25/word after project completion. Rate includes two rounds of revisions. This is a short-term project with the opportunity to work on additional projects as needed. Requirements - You are extremely comfortable working independently. - You own that you are helping create 'the brand' and act accordingly: you stay focused on the game and community and generate meaningful content. - You communicate early and often about audience response to your content (e.g., shifts in sentiment, feature requests, and which groups are engaging the most). - You are extremely reliable, responsive to feedback/questions, and timely. - You refuse to solely rely on existing memes and 'AI slop'; you are driven and creative. Compensation Compensation has not been finalized. However, our current thinking is we will pay around $10-$30 per eligible video (baseline), depending on relevant experience and scope. In addition, we plan to offer performance-based bonuses for videos that perform well. Bonus tiers and payout structure may be adjusted over time as we learn what works, and we will communicate any changes in advance. This job listing is for a part-time contractor opportunity.
