Solar Scheduler

Role Description SpartanX is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Solar Scheduler to support residential solar operations by coordinating installation timelines, inspections, utility requirements, and homeowner communication. This role plays a critical part in keeping projects moving efficiently from installation through permission to operate. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates professionally, and can manage multiple moving parts without losing attention to detail. The Solar Scheduler will work closely with operations, permitting, service, installation teams, utility providers, AHJs, and homeowners to ensure projects remain on schedule and operational delays are minimized. What You’ll Do - Coordinate residential solar installation schedules and project timelines - Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding appointments, expectations, and project updates - Schedule inspections with AHJs and coordinate required documentation - Work directly with utility companies to manage meter sets, interconnection timelines, and PTO processes - Coordinate with installation, electrical, permitting, and service departments to maintain project flow - Monitor scheduling pipelines and proactively identify potential delays or conflicts - Maintain accurate project records and scheduling updates within company systems - Escalate scheduling issues and operational concerns when necessary - Assist with reschedules, homeowner concerns, and operational adjustments as needed - Ensure scheduling accuracy and timely communication across all departments involved in the project lifecycle Qualifications - Strong organizational and multitasking skills - Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously - Professional communication skills with homeowners, utilities, inspectors, and internal teams - Strong attention to detail and follow-through - Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative operations team - Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments - Experience with scheduling software, CRMs, and operational systems preferred - Prior solar, construction, permitting, utility coordination, or operations experience preferred - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure Preferred Qualifications - Previous solar scheduling or solar operations experience - Familiarity with utility interconnection processes and AHJ inspections - Experience working with permitting and operational workflows - Strong administrative and coordination background Benefits - Competitive compensation based on experience - Growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding solar company - Team-focused culture built on accountability, professionalism, and operational excellence - Opportunity to play a key role in customer experience and project success Legal Disclaimer SpartanX is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values workplace diversity.
